Context

Everything begins with what is present.

  • Your circumstances
  • Your environment
  • Your current skills etc.

This is the situation before we give it meaning.

It may be something happening around you or something unfolding within you.

Context simply holds 'what is'.

Interpretation

From here, your inner world becomes active. You begin to interpret what is happening through:

  • Your perceptions
  • Your feelings
  • Your understanding

This is where meaning is formed and where the same situation can feel:

  • heavy or hopeful
  • Clear or confusing
  • Safe or uncertain

This phase is often where we begin to feel stuck, not because of something being wrong, but as things are still taking shape.

Agency

As clarity begins to form, a shift becomes possible.

You begin to see options, and from those options, you make a choice.

This is your agency.

It does not offer control over everything but provides the ability to respond with awareness.

  • Sometimes the choice is to act
  • Sometimes it is to wait
  • Sometimes it is to let go

Every choice moves you forward.
